Miss T Meenalakshmi, Class 12 of Velammal Vidyalaya, Mel Ayanambakam, represented Tamil Nadu and clinched the Gold Medal by defeating her Opponent from Srilanka with a score of 5-3 in the final round of Individual Kumite Championship held at Kotla Vijay Baskar Reddy Indoor Stadium, Telangana recently.This event was organised by Shubukai Shito - KYU Karate Federation International.About 600 students from various countries took part in this International event.The School Management congratulates her astounding achievement.
